Privacy Policy

How Techie Nutpam collects, uses, stores, and protects the personal data you share with us — and the rights you have over it.

1. Introduction

TechieNutpam (OPC) Private Limited ("Techie Nutpam", "we", "us", or "our") operates the website https://techienutpam.in and provides web development, mobile app development, design, video production, and digital marketing services.

This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and safeguard it, and the choices available to you. It applies to this website and to the services we deliver to our clients.

We handle personal data in accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000 together with the rules made under it. By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information We Collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and to deliver the work you have engaged us for:

  • Information you give us — your name, email address, phone number, company name, and the details of your project when you submit an enquiry form, email us, or contact us over WhatsApp or phone.
  • Project material — files, credentials, brand assets, content, and access to third-party accounts that a client shares with us so we can build or maintain their product.
  • Recruitment information — the CV, contact details, and portfolio links you send to our HR address when applying for a role.
  • Technical information — your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, referring page, and the pages you visit, captured automatically in server logs and analytics.
  • Communication records — correspondence, proposals, quotations, and meeting notes generated in the course of working together.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 18, and we do not ask for sensitive personal data such as government identifiers, health records, or biometric data through this website.

3. Payment Information

We do not collect or store card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs, or net-banking credentials on this website. Invoices are settled through bank transfer or through regulated payment gateways, and those providers process your payment details under their own privacy terms.

We retain only the transaction records we are required to keep for accounting and tax purposes — invoice number, amount, date, and payer name.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

  • Respond to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, and schedule a discovery call.
  • Design, build, deploy, and maintain the products and campaigns you have engaged us for.
  • Raise invoices, collect payment, and meet our accounting and tax obligations.
  • Provide support, deliver updates, and communicate about ongoing work.
  • Understand how the website is used so we can improve its content, speed, and structure.
  • Assess job applications and contact shortlisted candidates.
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data, and we do not use client project material to train third-party models or resell it in any form.

5. Cookies and Analytics

This website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Essential cookies keep the site functioning and remember your theme preference. Analytics cookies help us understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages are read, how long visitors stay, and where they arrive from.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so will not prevent you from browsing the site, though some preferences may no longer persist between visits.

6. Sharing and Disclosure

We share personal data only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers — hosting, cloud storage, email, analytics, and payment providers who process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations and only for the purposes we specify.
  • Our team — employees and contracted specialists who need the information to deliver your project, each bound by confidentiality terms.
  • Legal requirement — where disclosure is required by law, court order, or a lawful request from a government authority.
  • Business transfer — if our business or a part of it is merged, acquired, or reorganised, data may transfer to the successor entity under the same commitments set out here.

Some of these providers operate servers outside India. Where data is transferred abroad, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard comparable to this policy.

7. Client Work in Our Portfolio

We may display completed client work — screenshots, brand names, and a description of what we built — on this website and on our social channels as part of our portfolio. We do not publish confidential business information, user data, source code, or internal metrics.

If you are a client and would prefer that your project not appear publicly, write to contact@techienutpam.in and we will remove it.

8. Data Security

We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards to protect the data in our care: encrypted connections (HTTPS) across the website, access controls on our systems, credentials held in managed password stores, and a policy of granting team members only the access their role requires.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you share information with us on that understanding. If a breach occurs that is likely to affect you, we will notify you and the relevant authority as required by law.

9. Data Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as it serves the purpose it was collected for. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are cleared from our active records within a reasonable period. Project files and correspondence are retained for the duration of the engagement and for a subsequent period to support warranty, maintenance, and reference needs. Financial records are retained for the period required under Indian tax and company law.

Once data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.

10. Your Rights

As a Data Principal under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you have the right to:

  • Ask for a summary of the personal data we hold about you and how we process it.
  • Have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected, and outdated data updated.
  • Request erasure of your personal data where we no longer have a lawful reason to retain it.
  • Withdraw a consent you previously gave, without affecting processing already carried out.
  • Nominate another individual to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.
  • Raise a grievance with us, and escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India if it remains unresolved.

To exercise any of these rights, email contact@techienutpam.in from the address associated with your enquiry or engagement. We will respond within a reasonable time, and in any case within the period prescribed by law.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, systems, or legal obligations change. The revised version takes effect from the date it is published on this page, and the effective date above will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated to active clients directly.
